Nā Lei Aloha awards grants to selected programs benefiting the Hawai`i community that value the concept of our world's interconnectedness and succeed in strengthening community through developing people's desire and ability to care for themselves and others.
The Foundation reviews proposals by invitation only. Unsolicited proposals will not be considered. Organizations must be tax-exempt with 501(c)(3) status and operate in accordance with generally accepted accounting practices. The Foundation does not make grants to endowments or fundraising events. Potential grantees who feel that they may have a project that addresses the Foundation’s mission are encouraged to contact the Program Officer in writing or by phone to discuss their interest.
